Chic Combo
Some people have a special talent mixing it all for that perfect match. From the colorful splash above to the vamp cream dress below.
Wolly fall dress-up; Cap to leggings.

Cycling the Frame in Berlin
Back in 1988, a short film - part documentary part art-film - was made, called Cycling the Frame. It was about the Berlin Wall back when West Berlin was still isolated from the West. The film follows a young girl (Tilda Swinton) and her thoughts as she cycles around West Berlin alongside the 96 mile long, iconic, symbol of the cold war.
The above trailer is for the 2009 follow up to the original film. Tilda Swinton cycles once again along the same route, commenting on what she sees. Brilliant stuff.
Check out www.Invisible-Frame.com for more about these two works.

Low Tech Security
In a world obsessed with often useless technological gadgets, some people prefer the ol' skool, human touch.

On this one, the owner was a little less humourous. She wrote: "Next time, don't touch my bicycle. If you do, I'll see red. Thanks."

Zagreb Revisited
Off to Dubrovnik, Croatia today, to open the Monumental Motion photo exhibition featuring photographs about Copenhagen's bicycle culture. Here are some shots of Zagreb cycle chic from last year. At top, Tomas from the Danish Embassy on his dad's old vintage bike.

Drizzle & Frizzle
It rains often, but seldom hard in Denmark. So many people just try to ignore the fact and whiz off through the drops.
In summer a double layer can quickly make you as wet inside as outside!
Wool and knitware goes a long way, if the rain is not too persistent.
Quiet evening walk in the rain

Copenhagen City Bike
Copenhagen's bike share system is unique as the only large scale free bike share system that actually has worked. However, time is up. New and better bike share systems can be found elsewhere.
Still, the old bikes will chug along this Summer...
...and Winter.
Until its time to pick up the last passenger.

Smok'in
There's no denying it. Smoking has become part of the daily commute for many who find it increasingly difficult to smoke indoors and at work.
Unfortunately many smokers tend to throw their buts into the streets. Cycling smokers no different than the rest.
Campaigns to make smokers stop trashing the streets have been to no avail so far.
Today, more than half of all Copenhagen's street trash is cigarette buts(!) And emptying your pipe into the street is no better.

Petite Bags
Saturday we looked at Grand Bags - today its time for the Petite Bags. Above; Superior color match. Below; Amazingly elegant leather combo.
Colorful fabric on leather.
French style classic leather portemonnaie.
After browsing 1,000+ pictures my conclusion is that Copenhagen men just do not use petit bags ever - for anything at all. Semi-petit shoulder bag is as close as it gets.
