Copenhagen's Future Cycle Chic'sters
Copenhagenize had a visit with an architect and urban planner from the States yesterday. From our cafe window perch we saw supermoms and superdads coming and going from all directions. Some with little ones too small to sit up on their own, but none too small to enjoy the ride cosied up near mom or dad.

Dad Cycle Chic
My Dad is 83. A Dane from Northern Jutland. Bicycles were a part of his life from the word go. Here he is in Copenhagen earlier this year.
He was a bike messenger during the Second World War in Copenhagen. Fifteen years old, delivering fruits and veg around the city.
This photo, below, isn't him, but it sure could be:

Gentlemen's Saturday on Cycle Chic
Inspired by Mark over at London Cycle Chic and his recent Here Come the Boys post, we figured we'd make this Gentlemen's Saturday here on Cycle Chic.
It was -14 degrees this morning - chillier still with the wind chill - but the sun was shining so the world was perfect. (for our readers in Burma, Liberia and the USA - the only countries that haven't switched to Celcius - 14 degrees below zero is 6.8 degrees Fahrenheit :-) ) So here are some cycling Copenhagen gentlemen - kept chilled for freshness - for your perusal.
When you read this I'll be carving up the pistes in Sweden. Gone skiing with my son and some kids/parents from his class for the weekend. Only two hours from Copenhagen, so I'll be back soon.

More Morning Moods
Thanks to Mikael for the kind introduction and posting the paparazzi shot of me.
I'll continue with two more takes on the winter morning theme. First is another shot from my time at Egmont Student's Dormitory:
Copenhagen winter mornings can have a certain melancholic beauty to them.
Moving on to a very different mood, this sight really saved my Monday morning. During the night someone had stealthily chic'ed up my Short John cargo bike for the holiday season. Big thanks to my clandestine friend.
Guerrilla bicycle Christmas decoration.
