Christmas Eve
It is Christmas Eve today. And we wanted to share these two ladies. Both dressed in red. Both Cycle Chic.
Red coat and Christmas tree in the back. In the basket - maybe presents?
All red and mixed in different knits. In the basket - maybe presents as well?
Happy Christmas Eve Cycling!

Cold Ready
Racing bicycle is her everyday transportation. Impressive hat keeps her head warm and it is a statement - "Winter Ready". Leather gloves helps to keep her hands in place - on the brakes. She is one of those fast cyclists. Waking up late, getting ready in a second... Her goal is to spend the least possible time on the way. You can see focus in her face. Nothing will disturb her. Not even us taking a photo of her. She is ready for the next ride. We hope to meet her again.
Happy cycling!

Own That Scarf
Yes, scarf in Copenhagen is a MUST HAVE piece. It is pretty windy here. There are no vertical mountains, but there are plenty of horizontal ones. Here is a post about ladies, riding their bicycles while keeping their scarf game strong.
Hide in your scarf, when the wind is against you.
Deep blue. As a protector, as an accessory. Scarf is your everything these days.
Keep your neck warm and match it with your gloves! Why not?
Bring the colours in the house.
Or keep it all black.
The bigger, the better!!!
Happy cycling and don't forget your scarf!

Puffy Jacekts
The weather is changing all the time, so puffy jackets are the best choice. Keeps you warm, easy to move (we mean cycle) and they look good.
This lady... All bronze. Her bike, her jacket, even her skin tone. We like it. It is not by mistake, she is chic and unique.
Or add a stand out colour. We are aware that Copenhageners like to wear black, but it is so nice from time to time refresh yourself with some nice colour. Good job!
The safe way. It is longer - to keep yourself warmer, black - because it always works, opened neck - because it not so cold, yet. With the beige boots and gloves in dark red this is a really nice combination.
Keep yourself warm.
Happy Cycling!

Friday Christmas Feeling
It is Friday already and Christmas is not so far away anymore. While we are out there spotting Christmas shopping by bicycle, we introduce you with this lady. Earth tones, red gloves and blue bike. Suits so good. Together with Magasin Christmas decorations this picture shows the real spirit of this wonderful time. Peaceful and cozy!

With The Dog in The Basket
You see her riding with full basket in the front and the box in the back. It is no surprise when you see a dog in the basket here in Copenhagen. The dog owners are not afraid to take their pets in their bikes so they can enjoy and experience the ride together. Smaller dogs in front baskets, bigger in cargo bikes. There is no excuse.
This lady proves it. She is on her bike with her best friend in the front basket. However, pay attention to the their outfits. They both are matching army green jackets. True spirit of friendship!!! Safe and chic ride for both of them.
Happy Cycling!

Foggy Mornings
On a foggy, grey December morning in the streets of Copenhagen, where everyone dresses up in black and grey, we spotted a nice lady on a cream bike heading to the city. Her bike and coat... She brings smiles and liveliness to the bike lanes. Keep it simple and classy with a little touch of colours.

The All Blacks, Part II
It is hard not to notice that in Copenhagen black is always top pick when it comes to the clothes. Obviously, we had to write about this... Here are 4 photos from our recent photo mission where we spotted black in all its glory!
While waiting for the green light.
This girls brings lot of black tones into her outfit. Looking cool and edgy. Her bike is the brightest accessory in her over all look, and still it is light grey... Not so far from our favorite - black!
All black, everything.
Even headphones, for sure her bicycle and baskets. Real Copenhagener - chic, comfy and all black.
You need to add little something from time to time.
This lady all black and light grey mittens with red pattern.
In motion.
All black with little bit of white and olive green.
Our lovely Copenhagen ladies. Black suits them so well, right?

They See Me Taking Photo
It is hard to stay anonymous when you want to get the shot of Copenhageners on their bikes. Here are some photos of cyclists who spotted the camera pointing at them.
Worried mother on a Saturday ride. Surprised by CycleChic.
Wondering. Who are you... And what you are doing...
Do I look ok? Just made it to the top of Langebro bridge and it was a steep ride.
I see you! Just like that.
Graceful. I am moving, but slowly, so I can be aware of what is happening here.
Don't be afraid. We are just trying to show to everyone that cycling is cool, cycling is awesome and cycling is convenient to all of us!!!
Happy Cycling!

Less Is More
So simple, so stylish! Black and white with emphasis on the soft pink jacket. These days, when the sun is shining and nature around us is grey, white bike just got our attention in a second. Without doubt you don't need to over think to be chic. Just keep it simple and real!
Happy Cycling!

The Cycling Girl of the Day
Last week I went for a bicyle ride with a few hundred cyclists here in Copenhagen on the last etape of the COP15 Cycling Tour of Japan hosted by the Danish Embassy in Tokyo.
There was one clear winner of the prestigious Cycle Chic Cycling Girl of the Day award.
Jeanett is a singer and she produces albums on which she sings jazzed up versions of old Danish lullabys. She was present in Japan on the Cycling Tour and, of course, she was riding along with us in Copenhagen. In true Copenhagen style.
Jeanett travels extensively with her Lullawear project, not least to Japan, and you can check it out right here. It's great for kids.
