I took this photo on New Year's Eve a couple of years ago. It was 18:17 in Copenhagen. Temperature: 1 degree. The streets and bike lanes were busy with people heading to parties and get togethers. Bicycles everywhere.
An expectant mood. So expectant that one doesn't give riding in a skirt and heels in that temperature a second thought. It's what you do.
A very Happy New Year to all of you!
Happy New Year to you as well.

Happy New Year from Long Beach/Los Angeles!
ReplyDeleteLove this shot - how I wish folks here would adopt the Cycle Chic life style!
But I shall soldier on, be a good role model and who knows, maybe more SoCal residents will start riding bikes! (when gasoline hits $10 a gallon, they will! LOL)
Cheers, everyone! Been here twenty years now but... Copenhagen is always on my mind. (to paraphrase Ray Charles.) Spent last Xmas and NY in Copenhagen - it was a white one, but not as cold and white as this Xmas - keep warm, people!
