Taxi!

After a slow and pitiful beginning with a less than cooperative municipality cycle taxis have established themselves firmly in Copenhagen.

Most companies and drivers focus on the summer months, but you can grab a cycle taxi all year long either on the street or by phone/internet.


The early drivers were all independent. Now many drivers work for dedicated cycle taxi companies.


Still, the cycles are often colourful and individualistic. Many of the drivers are pretty cool too!


By far most cycles are pedal driven, but a few electrical models have entered the scene the last couple of years.
