September

Late Summer Garb
Sometimes you just wish September would never end. Even though we often have lovely Indian Summers in Copenhagen in September, you still feel like you're on borrowed time and you're grateful for it.

  3. Tough one! Looks kinda Swedish to me, like a Skeppshult, but there isn't enough letters on the downtube for that... it's a funky frame for sure.

  7. For a bit I was distracted by the loveliness of the bicycle ... but now I can't stop staring at her hand.

Is she? Picking her nose? Or can we all just agree that this is a Seinfeldien "scratch" so we can get on with her day? Or maybe we can agree that she is adjusting her nose piercing..

  8. Love her foootwear and bike! Her slim tall figure complements the 'slim' clean looks of the bicycle very well.

  9. Maybe a BUTTERFLY, looking at the LARGEST photo, on Flickr. Aside from not reading Swedish or Danish, it's not all that clear. Reading from the seat tube logo of course.

And logos with odd typefaces are not very clear anymore, since the strokes. I'd save it and blow the photo up, but it's protected against that.

  10. It's a Kildemoes, one of Denmark's most famous bicycle brands.

  11. "Our eyes play tricks on us," titles a recent post on The Sartorialist.
"This young lady looks almost provocative with her tailored jacket and long, summer legs. However, under that jacket, she was wearing the same jean shorts that all the other young ladies are wearing this time of year. From the front she would seem unremarkable, but from the back it's a whole different story."

  13. It's a bicycle from Kildemoes, a once-famous, now foreign-owned brand who make rather generic bicycles.

  14. Is it possible to have Indian Summer in Denmark where no "Indians" have ever lived? I thought North America was the only place where Indian summer existed. You crazy Danes...

  15. The Indian summer is back here in the UK today too. Great shot and a lovely pair legs propelling that bicycle.
