Here we have the Mayor of London, Boris Johnson promoting the upcoming Skyride in the city with Kelly Brooks. Ms Brooks has clearly understood the very simple concept of Cycle Chic, as has Boris.
Alas,
the journalist at the Metro newspaper who wrote this article clearly hasn't got a clue. Poor thing.
Boris might be 'distracted' by her attire but I'm pretty certain he's not wishing she was wearing trainers.......... ;)
ReplyDeleteI would definitely ride with her!!!
ReplyDeletetell me how!!
not because she's so gorgeous, but because I like to ride my bike along with other people ;)
Is this the reported "Our Miss Brooks" everyone use to talk about?, no wonder! I cerntainly want to practice commuting with her.
ReplyDeletenow that's what i call a pair of cycling heels...
ReplyDeleteyou go girl !
Well, from the comments on the site (the link) so far, everyone else is getting it. I think the reporter will "get it" soon (if not already).
ReplyDeleteCheers
The poor journo may be just struggling with what a push bike is...?
ReplyDeleteBoris' eccentricity is fab and his support for the velo is even better.
Kelly looks great, but I prefer Alcala - from La Vuelta post...
ahhhhh, Alcala!
No, Boris just knows how to grab the credit for someone else's idea and when there is a good photo opportunity. He is vastly over rated.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely agree with Kim!
ReplyDeleteWe had this Sky Ride nonsense in Glasgow recently. Steered well clear (pardon the pun). Promotes cycling in the worst possible way.
ReplyDeleteI love those "how the heck do you ride in heels?" comments. Have those people asking ever tried to WALK in them? Geez - makes riding a breeze
