@Stefan - You must be young, fixies are so old school that for decades they have been the almost exclusive province (the minority of track racers not withstanding) of crusty old farts who wear braces. Perhaps that's why you haven't noticed them before.

However, I don't see neither suspenders nor braces. Those are backpack straps.
