Quite close to being quintessential Cycle Chic á la Copenhague. The basket. The heels. The scarf. The Lakes in the background. The moody spring clouds. The goddamned everything.
I'm currently stranded in Barcelona because of volcanic activity on a bankrupt island in the North Atlantic. How bizarre is that. Although Barca is not the worst place to be stranded. Could be worse.
Latest news is no flight for a few days as the Danish airspace is closed. No available seats on international trains until Wednesday. Few busses. Few rental cars left.
Fortunately, loads of Cycle Chic in this brilliant city.
From that photo you seem determined to make the best of the situation, Mikael. Good luck for your trip home.
ReplyDeleteBon courage, vale? ;)

Barcelona-Copenhagen? Sounds like a nice bicycle ride to me... What better way to spread the cycle chic word accross south-western Europe? And let me take the occasion to say thanks for a great blog.
ReplyDeleteIt is being demonstrated to us just how insignificant we are in the grand scheme of things on mother earth. Deal with it.
ReplyDeleteWe could be getting the same lesson from the universe.
i love Copenhagen. my sister and my niece are there. and i love to go there.
ReplyDeleteFor an appropriate soundtrack to this I'd suggest Les Hommes-"Instraspettro"
ReplyDeleteWhile in Barca, check out the Champaneria! But I'm sure you've already found a favorite watering hole by now! Enjoy being trapped in one of Europe's most beautiful cities!
ReplyDeletejust perfect..
ReplyDeleteNow just to work out how to swap her for me.....
