I am loving it too. And when you look closely it is all about pairs: two green lights, two red men and two feathered individuals. It is beautiful, it took me a while to figure out where in Copenhagen it is. :-) Sandra
Haven't visited for awhile and soon it should be cycling weather again, I thought I'd pay a visit. Lovely photos as usual. How about more photos of senior cyclists, or don't they ride?
Kate, there are several photos of elegant senior cyclists - think the tag is "elderly" for seniors and people in late-middle age (aka us boomers).
The photo with the gull is a classic - just so the damned bird doesn't "go" on the cyclist's beautiful cape. I had a friend, now deceased, who was a lawyer in Venice and he had more than one beautiful suit jacket or fine-cotton shirt destroyed by their gifts.
That garment only works on someone tall and reasonably slim. A small curvy mamma type like me would look like a sack of potatoes in it, mannaggia!
I'm hoping to get to Copenhagen in high summer some time, to cycle from very early AM to late in the evening. I've only been there once, working at a conference, in December. Always dark of course, and I had no time to cycle, though of course I did see cyclists.
A very elegant lady.

I'm sending this picture of this quilted duvet cape to my daughter the designer. I want one...
ReplyDeleteNice. In Vienna I see elderly men cycling, but rarely elderly women.
