Well On The Way To...

Downtown
;-) (Couldn´t help throwing in another mood (another planet?)).

Anyway, I would like to thank all you CycleChic persons who have commented on my shots since I started posting more than a year ago. The encouragement has been great.
I just had a special christmas gift: I had a photo published on the quite prestigious photo art site 1x.com (a.k.a. OnExposure). So this is also my present to You:
Frosted #2
( See her at 1x.com )
I hope you forgive the subliminal bike content: She is indeed walking her bicycle!

Merry Christmas!

  3. funny, seeing the bottom photo on this blog one just senses the bicycle, because of our subject matter here.

on the other site (congrats) it's just a pedestrian, it seems.

  4. Top one is very American -- "Summer in the city" will be obvious title.

The b/w one it's just great! And very christmassy. Her tender look (at the bicycle -- well, she's probably checking, did not the front wheel stuck in something ;) would classify the photo as a Christmas picture -- if the whole affair two thousands years ago happened not in Jerusalem, but closer to the Polar Circle...

  5. For all you "enjoying" winter weather right now, that top one could have been taken in Austin this week. Sunny and highs around 70 degrees F. Not so much fun in August, but winter is great here ;)

  7. I've admired the selection of photos here on CCC, it has given me inspiration and a sincere appreciation of both the photographers and their subjects.

what a wonderful way to build bike lanes that connect different continents.

    Keep up the great work.

Happy holidays and I look forward to the upcoming year..

  10. As 2009 is coming to a end, I'd like to Thank you for the beautiful pictures posted on this blog. Last year I remember cycling by the cityhall place on New Year's day. Probably the most dangerous/funny fireworks/biking experience.
    Keep going.
