It feels like ages ago, but my calendar tells me that september is only two months away. We tend to curse this rapid change of season, but perhaps there is something deep inside us, that knows that this is how it should be. I don´t know.
I really noticed it tonight. The two neighborhoods I pass through to get home in the evening were completely blacked out through all of rush hour. It was pitch black! I love the seasons, but I love the light and will welcome its return.
i'll trade a copenhagen winter for a chicago one any year!
ReplyDeleteYou don't appreciate something until it's gone, even if for a couple of months...

ReplyDeleteJasontinky: Really? Are you sure? :-)
ReplyDeleteThe thing that stikes me about this picture is how beautiful the lady in blue is. Natural and graceful, whatever her age. So Scandinavian!
ReplyDeleteanonymous: Yes, I like her too. And she has such a strong presence.
ReplyDeleteOoooh, MIkael. Ooooh, ooooh, ooooh Mikael. I don't think you know what a snowstorm is... Oooooh Mikael.
ReplyDeleteYou should try Montreal out for size....
We don't have snow in San Francisco ; P
ReplyDeleteoh, not the old "my winter is harsher than yours" chestnut. i was hoping we'd avoid that this year.
ReplyDeletei spent several years living in calgary. i know snow.
snow is snow. cold is cold. try cycling at a copenhagen -5 and with a wind at 25-20 m/second and you'll feel at home.
