On my recent visit to New York City I had the opportunity to ride around the city - not as much as I would have liked - but here are some photos from a couple of the bridges. Brooklyn Bridge above. Manhattan Bridge in the morning light. Ditto.
pure coincedence. actually, i didn't stand around all day. i flew across manhattan bridge, did a tour around brooklyn and returned over brooklyn bridge to head uptown for a meeting.
I have spent little time in NYC but have never swallowed the much accepted myth of NYC as a cruel, ugly jungle. Your photos show a completely different side of a city that so many American look upon with distain, as a city filled with violence, filth, and moral decay. Your shots show a city that is vibrant, colorful, liveable, and focused on people. Thanks for another perspective.

Just coincidence that all the riders are ladies, riding practical bikes and none of them are wearing helmets.
You dog! :)
You must have had to stand around in NYC all day to find these shots!
love it! come back soon!

You know Copenhagen also has a dark side: drugs, prostitutes, homeless, graffiti, crime, gang wars. It's not all jolly good...
Actually I've read some of the criminals in the current gang war are using bikes, because it's the fastest way to get around town...
Better not try to take photographs of them unless you want trouble...
