After a brief intermission (summer holidays + broken bone) I am back on track, but now on a set of new wheels aka Bullit Blubird ´71. Here shown with interim child seat (I just grabbed the car seat and strapped it on) and young girl sound asleep. I am going to have a *much* more elegant child seat accompanied by side panels and top cover, but
Larry vs Harry has just developed these, so I will have to wait a couple of weeks.
Until then, this is what it looks like from riders p.o.v.:
And yes, all that just because of a 1 minute ride on Mikaels white Bullit, haha. Ok, now back to the street life.
'71? Is it a 1971 model, or what?
ReplyDeleteUlrik
nope. the model is just called Bluebird '71.
ReplyDeleteBluebird '71 ... baby names get more and more excentric. Cute girl though.
ReplyDeleteHaha! (Yes, it *is* the name of the bike.)
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, the girl has an excentric middle name, but that´s another story ;-)
Oh hell, I will say it anyway: Olga Polka!
I love the rich cerulean blue of the bike against the blue summer sky!
ReplyDeleteBroken bone? And it affected being able to cycle? Eeek. I hope you (or whomever) is on the mend!
Yup, a bone in the foot. But it mended fine (almost ok now).
ReplyDeleteClear things up for us a little, please. Did you have to get the bluebird '71 because you tried to clockwork orange for one minute, or did you break your bone during a one-minute bike-ride?
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your new bike, anyway, and I hope your foot heals quickly and painlessly.
Lars tried my Milk Plus but I suppose he didn't feel Pimpstar Deluxe enough for the white colour :-)
ReplyDeleteAnd his foot injury was sports related, not bicycle related. :-)
Superb picture!
ReplyDeletePeace :)
