Copenhagen poet Dan Turell (1946-93) wrote a much loved celebration of everyday things ("Jeg holder af hverdagen"). One of the things that would end up on my list of cherrished everyday things would likely be girls on bicycles (Surprise!).
And I am only happy to share a bit of that everyday thing with you...

ReplyDeletemy boy Felix is seven and here's a photo of him. Girls his age usually ride mini versions of the 'grandma' bikes, the upright bikes with baskets.
ReplyDeleteAlthough there are 35,000 cargo bikes in Copenhagen, mostly for transporting kids around like this
