  2. I had a snow blizzard (!) still yesterday here in Regina, SK, but now the sun is out. Hope in Edmonton the weather is better when I get back. Nice picture of a brave, stylish lady on bike.

  3. My reaction was the same as Pipi's! That'd be the flattest slope you can find in Lausanne ;-)

  4. HA! M'dame Jo, you're lukcy in Lausanne if that goes for a flat slope up there, now where I'm from that'd be the most downhill you ever get ;-)

  5. frederik > indeed, this is a very pertinent remark. We get to bike downhill a lot. For example, we can take the metro up - 338m altitude difference - and then you have a pretty nice downhill ride :-D

  6. Another great capture.
I love how the whole image looks like a
    colorized black and white shot.

  7. The only reason I voted "no" is because biking (or walking) is how I get around. Even in Montreal winters.

I voted yes anyway, as it spurs me on. Kiwehtin, I have been known to take the métro, or the bus (alas, not the tram - a tramline use to run along my street).

I've passed 50 and have never owned or driven a car.

It has certainly encouraged me to stay cycle-chic!
