I took this photo on New Year's Eve last year. It was 18:17 in Copenhagen. Temperature: 1 degree. The streets and bike lanes were busy with people heading to parties and get togethers. Bicycles everywhere.
An expectant mood. So expectant that one doesn't give riding in a skirt and heels in that temperature a second thought. It's what you do.
I'm off to a summer house in Sweden for New Years together with a slough of friends and rugrats. See you in 2009 and have a lovely New Years.

(my sister wanted to go out last night in tights and a skirt, but decided against it when it turned out it was actually -10 degrees (celcius, mind you).
