My friends at Momemtum Magazine in Vancouver sent me this link of a recent bicycle fashion show they put on. It's great to see. Just think... a year ago, when we started this blog, there were hardly any Cycle Chic sites or blogs out there. Now the net is swimming in them. Yes, we're responsible. Yes, we're pleased. :-) Seriously, it is really great to see people taking back the bike culture.

A hub of street cyclists, eh? Not bad at all...on one of our recent Cargo Bike Picnic Rides we decided that a group of cargo cyclists should be referred to as a "pallet", as in "Look, there goes a pallet of cargo bikes - must be either a bike move or another picnic." Val
haha that's great! A pallet of cargo bikes.
As long as every hub and pallet have a 'spokes'person.... ooh, that was tooo easy.
Now you got me thinking:
- A cove of beach cruisers.
- A crash of racing bikes.
- A posture of 'sit up and beg' or 'granny' bikes.
- A load of Xtra cycles.
anyone else? this is itching to be a blog post.

Oh please. You nuts are so high on yourselves. Leave the nest, Copenhagen. Try cycling in the real world, where cars, hills, heat and humidity weigh against you. Please don't lecture us about speed and sweat, because you are practically riding with training wheels. There's absolutely nothing interesting in looking photographs of people riding bicycles on flat roads in temperate weather, all trying hard to look French. You're not French. You're Danish. Go pedal back to the windmill and keep carving your stupid clogs.

Maybe you should check out more of our blog before dissing it like you do...
1) Weather in Copenhagen is not always temperate - many, many Copenhageners bike all year round, even in knee-high snow and icy winds... Watch
this post of winter cycle chic.
2) Chic biking in very hot and humid climates is also possible - check our post on Cycle Chic in Malaysia.
3) It's not just us. Of course it isn't. Luckily so. Which is why we often post guest photos from around the world.
4) We don't try to look French.
5) I'm happy for you that you eat Danish for breakfast! Wish I did so more often...

Not like it matters. We love our 2000 cool readers a day and we'll keep on loving them.

Thanks for the links to our blog Vocivelo.
We are cycling in Denmark for 2 weeks now. We appreciate the bike routes, and the very very hot weather. As we are cycling in the country, we don't have nice pictures of cyclists like yours but we have lot of pictures of nice landscapes.
